The AWC is a non-profit, voluntary organization that provides fun, friendship and social support to its members living permanently or temporarily in Denmark and promotes mutual understanding between the US and Denmark, particularly through philanthropic work. It is a resource and channel of information for its member clubs, contributes actively to the global community and represents the interests.

Offering Help for Today and Hope for Tomorrow. From clothing to education and counsel, we offer women resources. Learn about the various services we offer to young women, new moms, and parents in the Des Moines metro area at our two convenient locations. We are blessed to have qualified and trained individuals from local churches volunteer their time to help young women in need. Our volunteers are understanding and patient.

Do you like to speak English? That is all you need. Our goal is to not only provide an English-speaking social environment for our members, but to provide them with the opportunity to volunteer their time and energy to work with our club and give back to the local community.
